e-TeleQuote 2018 in Review

What a year! As 2018 comes to a close, we’re grateful to reflect on a wonderful year as a company. 2018 saw e-TeleQuote build on the hard work of previous years and make several significant steps in organizational growth.

New Offices

In September, e-TeleQuote expanded to its first location outside of Florida—New Braunfels, Texas! We’re delighted to better serve our customers with more agents and longer hours thanks to this new location. The Texas segment of our team has enthusiastically joined in our mission.

We also made a major office move in Clearwater this year to upgrade our headquarters! With a nicer space—and more room!—our team is happier. We’ve quickly filled the larger office with new team members to support our growth.

Growing Our Team

It has been a year for expanding our team. We, of course, welcomed an entire office of great people in Texas. We also graduated 21 new classes of agents across all our locations. Each location added new supervisors and custodial staff, and our Clearwater office also gained an administrative role. Late in the year, we added a key individual to our executive team—Randy Birchfield as Chief Operating Officer.

Smashing Our Goals

Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) is, of course, our busy time of year. This year, we were thrilled to see the results of all our improvements—more agents and better systems led to AEP results unlike any we’ve ever seen. Succeeding as a team is the best feeling, made even better by knowing that our hard work actually helps people.

Giving Back

We like to channel our gratitude for success back into our communities. Every employee in our organization—now more than 200—has the opportunity to give back to a charity, either through volunteering or donating a day’s salary. In addition, all of our locations regularly host donation drives for causes like homeless and veteran outreach, women’s shelters, and low-income students. We’re blown away by the generosity of our people and excited to see how our community involvement can expand as we continue to grow.

Having Fun

Last—but absolutely not least—we had a fun year! Growing as much as we have is a lot of work, and we balance hard work with celebration. From food trucks to football days, office Olympics to talent shows, and decoration contests to potlucks, our team knows how to make things fun!

Looking Forward

We’re already moving toward more explosive growth in 2019! In January we will start new training classes for agents—including a location in Arizona—and the hunt is on to fill another executive position as well.

Our team will take a well-deserved break for the holidays, and we will come back ready for all of 2019’s opportunities!
