Anthony (Tony) Solazzo is an insurance industry veteran with over thirty years of experience in building and scaling companies within the industry. From 2006 to 2010, Tony was the CEO of TRG Insurance Solutions, a provider of outsourced sales services to the insurance industry, which was founded by Tony as BPO3, majority acquired by TRG in 2006 and successfully exited in 2010 through a sale to Tranzact. Tony was then part of the Tranzact management team until he again partnered with TRG to start e-TeleQuote in late 2011. Prior to BPO3, he was Vice President of Business Development at First Source, a large offshore BPO firm focused on insurance sales. Previously, Tony managed about 2,500 sales agents at Jackson National Life, a top-25 life and annuity insurance company in the US. Tony has a BA from Eckerd College and resides with his family in the Tampa, Florida area.
Asghar Husain joined e-TeleQuote from strategy consultant McKinsey & Company, where he was a manager in their Toronto office. Prior to McKinsey, Asghar was Group Finance Director for The Resource Group (TRG) from 2004 to 2011. TRG is a private equity holding company that invests in and builds services and technology companies with a focus on the business process outsourcing (BPO) and the broader business services sectors. Prior to TRG, Asghar was AVP Finance for technology company Constellation Software, and he commenced his career as an Engagement Manager at Deloitte and Touche from 1997 to 1999. Asghar earned a B.Sc. in Economics from University College, University of London, and obtained his MBA in Strategy and Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Shannon Gougis has more than 20 years of experience as a VP of Human Resources and HR Director for national healthcare and financial services companies. Her previous roles include HR leadership positions at ARDX, Divurgent, PRA Group and others. She has been a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) since 2015 and earned the Small Business Executive of the Year award from Business Intelligence Group based on the initiatives she led in optimizing company culture in a remote environment. Shannon holds a Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Antioch University in Seattle. She is fluent in French and an active member of both SHRM’s Executive Network (HR People & Strategy) and the American Business Women’s Association.
Paulee Day is a legal professional with more than 24 years of experience. Paulee recently completed 15 years as the Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Assistant Secretary of MarineMax, Inc. (NYSE: HZO). Prior to joining MarineMax, she was Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Maxxim Medical (NYSE: MAM). Paulee has also been a Corporate Attorney at both Eckerd Corporation and the law firm of Trenam Kemker. Paulee is a magna cum laude graduate of the Indiana University School of Law (JD) and a magna cum laude graduate of Vanderbilt University, where she obtained both her BA and MBA and was elected to both the Phi Beta Kappa Honorary Society and the Beta Gamma Sigma Honorary Society. Paulee was honored to be named as the Top Corporate Counsel in 2017 for public companies by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. She is a member of the Florida Bar and the America Corporate Counsel Association.
Ben Porch is focused on advancing e-TeleQuote’s use of technology and business intelligence to meet the evolving customer support needs of consumers and simplify business partner integrations. His keen understanding of technology’s role in the company’s business processes, key performance metrics and customer expectations play an important part in the continued growth of e-TeleQuote. Ben is a seasoned technology professional with prior call center technology operations experience with LeadingResponse and Wyndham Vacations, as well as broad business experience implementing technology solutions for household brand names including AVIS/Budget Group, Century21, Cheaptickets and Orbitz online travel. He attended American University undergraduate and went on to earn a Master of Science in Advanced Technologies from Johns Hopkins University. Ben is a supporter of several Tampa charitable organizations and has served on the board of Make-A-Wish Foundation and The Jack-and-Jill Foundation of Fort Lauderdale.
Darlene Larkins has over 30 years of call center leadership experience with expertise in both operations and client services. Prior to joining e-TeleQuote, Darlene was Vice President of Operations for Tranzact Insurance Solutions. Darlene came to Tranzact Insurance Solutions post the acquisition of TRG Insurance Solutions, where she had been Vice President of Client Services. During her career, Darlene has led several large-scale teams across multiple sites both in the U.S. and abroad. Her experience includes managing several operations both onshore and offshore in the BPO industry for large corporations such as SYKES and SITEL. At SYKES Darlene was responsible for the financial client relationships and managed several large clients in the Philippines, Costa Rica and India. During her tenure at SITEL, Darlene lived in Manila, Philippines, where she managed SITEL’s Call Center.
Robert Chauncey is an insurance professional with 30 years of experience in competitive and dynamic health and life insurance sales organizations. Robert has managed, developed and trained thousands of health and life insurance agents on product details and sales techniques since 1998 for numerous carriers in both field and telesales environments. Robert joined e-TeleQuote at its inception in 2011 from Tranzact Insurance Solutions, where he was responsible for training telesales agents. He transitioned to Tranzact Insurance Solutions post the 2010 acquisition by Tranzact of TRG Insurance Solutions, previously named BPO3. Robert joined BPO3 in 2005, and was responsible for training and managing telesales agents. Before BPO3, Robert had managed and trained field agents for several Blue Cross and Blue Shield agencies across Florida since 1998. Earlier in his career, Robert worked as a field agent earning numerous sales awards with Humana, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, and Prudential.
Mahroze Raza is an information technology expert with more than 13 years of experience in call center solutions, software architecture design and process automation. Mahroze joined e-TeleQuote from Montgomery IT Services, a call center solution and automation agency that he founded and led for 5 years. Prior to that, he was Head of Production for TRG Customer Solutions, where he designed and implemented complex solutions for international clients. He graduated from University of Engineering and Technology Lahore with a degree in Computer Engineering. Experience spanning more than a decade in health insurance IT solutions enables Mahroze to understand the requirements, trends and challenges that arise with innovating technologies.
Bob Zimel has served as a talent development executive for over 20 years, with experience in global industrial business, financial services, consulting, and retail. Before joining e-Telequote, Bob led the global learning organization for the Belgian-based company Solvay, during which he and his wife Pat lived in Brussels on Expat assignments. He has served in association leadership roles since 2003, including Chapter President and National Advisor for the world’s largest association for Learning and Development, ATD (Association for Talent Development). A presenter at numerous conferences, he has also been published in The Book of Road-Tested Activities and the ATD Trainer’s Toolkit App. Bob earned a Bachelor of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and has maintained his CPLP designation (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) since 2011.
Randy has nearly 20 years of client service and account management experience. He is responsible for driving business results with current vendors and onboarding new lead channels. Randy is also responsible for managing carrier and strategic partner relations. Randy holds a BS from Malone University.
John Scott learned sales and insurance from the ground up. He has spent more than 25 years working every aspect of the health insurance business, starting out with roles like Regional Sales Manager for American Medical Security and Assurant Health. John was based in Virginia for 15 years as a Sales Manager with Virginia Farm Bureau and Strategic Employee Benefits. He also worked as a Sales Representative for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Northwestern Mutual. In 2016, John joined e-TeleQuote as a site manager at the brand-new Brooksville, Florida location. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University. John received his Registered Health Underwriter designation from the National Association of Health Underwriters, where he also served in leadership positions, including President of Virginia.
Terri Woodard oversees the implementation of e-TeleQuote’s operations strategy and learning initiatives. Her ability to create a culture that promotes successes and encourages teamwork translates into setting and achieving exceptional standards nationwide. Terri’s commitment to continuous improvement fuels her daily focus on quality performance to ensure consistent delivery of best-in-class customer service. She has more than 20 years of experience across a range of industries, holding leadership positions at Trion™, StarCite, WorldGate Communications, and Broadview Networks. Terri graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Temple University.
