The past several months have been a time of growth for our company, especially the Human Resources team. Join us in celebrating new team members and advancements!
Welcome to Misty Brown Fischer, our new Chief People Officer! With 20 years’ experience in employee engagement, culture development, corporate communications, advertising, PR and digital marketing, Misty plays a pivotal role in the company brand and talent experience. Drawing from a diverse background, she leads the people function through progressive strategies that attract, excite and retain great employees.
Prior to joining e-TeleQuote, Misty held global executive roles in advertising and higher education supporting multiple Fortune 500 companies and top-ranked universities. Her efforts in corporate leadership and change management have resulted in award-winning cultures and workspaces, diverse employee populations and engaged communities.
Misty is a Los Angeles native. She holds a Master of Arts in Communication Management from University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from University of Phoenix. Now in Tampa Bay with her husband, she is Mom to a 16-year-old son and two Boston terriers, and her biggest passions are wine collecting, interior design, ping pong and traveling.
Following Misty’s leadership, our Human Resources department has transitioned into “People and Culture,” with a focus on finding great new people, engaging and supporting our employees, and building a unified culture throughout the organization.
In late 2021, our Culture Committee convened and, among many other projects, worked together to document our company values and distill them into a clear Values statement. Since launching the Values to the entire organization, the Culture Committee has also started awarding “Living the Values” recognition to a number of employees each month, based on customer reviews and coworker recommendations. Each award comes with company-wide recognition and a monetary prize.
We strive to be transparent in our communications with one another and as we communicate the benefits and options our customers have in choosing a Medicare plan – including an objective assessment of the suitability of an existing Medicare plan.
We hold ourselves accountable for our actions, tracking every interaction with consumers, and recording every call to ensure that our customers are treated kindly and provided with thorough, accurate information.
To us, having integrity in the insurance sales business means selling right by guiding our clients through Medicare options and choices.
A diverse workforce is important to us as we build a team to assist Medicare recipients from all walks of life across the United States. We believe that diversity makes us stronger as we learn about individual experiences and, through an understanding of those experiences, build respect for our individual team members. We know that a variety of experiences and perspectives offers our organization an endless number of approaches to overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities.
Compassion drives our licensed insurance agents to help our customers find the best Medicare plan option for their health needs.
Our commitment to best serve our customers drives our team to be innovative in developing opportunities to reach more Medicare recipients with the most suitable options for their health and financial needs.
We make every effort to achieve excellent results for our customers. No matter the situation, we endeavor to be better than the day before, every single day. This persistence creates outstanding moments in the lives of our Medicare recipients.
