Senior health insurance distributor e-TeleQuote Insurance, Inc's founder, Anthony P. Solazzo will step down as Chief Executive Officer on December 31, 2022. Industry veteran, and e-TeleQuote President, Craig Uchytil will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer at that time.
Mr. Solazzo founded the company in 2011 and led it on an impressive growth path over the following 10 years, culminating in a strategic acquisition by Primerica, Inc., in July, 2021. Since the acquisition, Solazzo has guided the integration of e-TeleQuote into Primerica. He also led the implementation of a mutually beneficial, inter-corporation lead channel that allows Primerica independent contractor representatives to refer clients to licensed Medicare agents at e-TeleQuote.
Mr. Solazzo built a talented executive team to lead the organization through the next stages of growth as part of Primerica.. Along with other strategic hires and promotions from within, Mr. Solazzo, working closely with the Chairman of e-TeleQuote, Michael Miller, brought Craig Uchytil, former VP of External Retail Distribution at Humana, on board in the fall of 2022.
Mr. Uchytil began his career as an agent, spending the last 27 years with Humana, where he rose through the ranks to ultimately lead the division responsible for the Medicare Advantage sales channel that oversaw relationships with call centers, as well as field marketing organizations (FMO), and independent agents.
